Cynthia I. Noel was born and raised in St. John's, Newfoundland. Self-taught, she is inspired by her European travels and museum visits. Her style is greatly influenced by impressionists such as Monet, Degas, Van Gogh, and Cassatt.
Little fishing villages of Newfoundland and the colourful heritage houses in the downtown area of St. John's are her favourite subjects. Capturing the atmosphere and mood is of utmost importance in her paintings.
Cynthia's paintings can be found in many private collections throughout North/South America and Europe. Original paintings are oil on gossoed masonite, and watercolour which come in full, half and quarter sheets.| |  | "Battery Sunset"
