Barry Ash is a self taught artist who was born and still resides in Hant’s Harbour Trinity Bay, Newfoundland with his wife (Michelle) and three daughters (Kira, Jenna and Keshia). As a child, he would watch his father draw and he soon developed a passion for sketching himself. At the age of seventeen, he started to experiment with his older brothers discarded oil paints. After trying different mediums, oil was the choice he decided to work in. Through trial and error and endless hours of reading instructional books his unique style and technique gradually evolved. During his progression as an artist he has had several exhibits and numerous commission works in the Province. Currently he has two limited edition reproductions "Misty Morning" and "The Early Birds" that can be purchased in Galleries throughout the Province
